Meet D.J.

Dennis J. (D.J.) Deeb is an accomplished educator with a diverse academic background, including an M.A. in History from Salem State University, an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and an M.S. in Political Science from Suffolk University. His extensive experience spans various roles such as Assistant Professor of History and Behavioral and Social Sciences at Walters State Community College, Adjunct Instructor at Grand Canyon University, and Social Studies Teacher at Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School. He has taught a wide range of courses, including U.S. History, World History, and American Government, and has been actively involved in academic advising and curriculum development. At Hartwell, his expertise in history, political science, and education equips aspiring K-12 educators with the knowledge and skills to foster critical thinking and civic engagement in their students.
