Meet Amanda

Amanda El-Aya, a current instructor at Hartwell, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the field of education. She holds a Master of Arts in Composition from Liberty University and a Master of Education in Administration from Texas A&M-Commerce. Her Bachelor’s degree in English, earned from the University of North Texas, laid a strong foundation for her career.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Amanda has made significant contributions at institutions such as Dallas College and Mesquite ISD. As an adjunct English professor and dual credit teacher, she excels in teaching writing, rhetoric, and research skills. At Hartwell, Amanda is known for her commitment to preparing future K-12 educators, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to become compassionate and effective teachers. Her innovative teaching methods and dedication to student success make her an invaluable asset to Hartwell’s educational community.
