Meet Lori

Lori Johnstone is a dedicated instructor at Hartwell, bringing a wealth of experience and a robust educational background to the classroom. She earned a Master’s in Education with dual specializations from California Baptist University, and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside.

With over two decades of teaching experience, Lori has made significant contributions to institutions such as Dayspring Christian Academy, Alta Loma Christian School, and California Baptist University. Her tenure includes roles as an elementary principal, AP instructor, and adjunct professor, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to education.

At Hartwell, Lori’s passion for nurturing future K-12 educators is evident. She emphasizes a balanced, supportive approach in her teaching philosophy, aiming to equip her students with the skills and compassion necessary to become quality, caring educators.
